SULLOM Voe harbour completed another ship to ship transfer at the weekend, this time without any oil spill.

The Russian tanker Perseverance delivered gas condensate to the receiving tanker Palva, the third in recent weeks. Both previous incidents resulted in minor spills.

The Perseverance sailed for Murmansk yesterday morning (Monday) at around 7.30am, while the Palva left for the US later in the afternoon.

Port managers hope that another ship to ship oil transfer will take place soon.
