LERWICK Boating Club has taken delivery of a 12 metre pontoon in a bid to help it attract more visiting yachts.

The pontoon will lie along one side of the quay at the boating club to enhance berthing access. It will also prove useful during yacht race events.

Manufactured by Oban-based Fusion Marine, the pontoon was supplied by local marine and engineering company, Ocean Kinetics Ltd.
