SCOTTISH Seafarms has been short listed in all the categories of the Crown
Estate Scottish Salmon Farm Awards 2007, which recognise companies making an
exceptional contribution to the industry.
The company has been short listed for 'best farm', 'best added value', 'best
contribution to sustainability', 'best export business' and 'best community
initiative'.
Shetland processing manager Gordon Drummond said: "This is extremely exciting
for the company. It is certainly testament to the hard work of the highly
committed staff we have employed in our operations in Shetland, Stirling and all
along the west coast of Scotland.
"Each and every individual deserves recognition for Scottish Sea Farms getting
this far in the judging process."
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 31 May 2007.
